Diego Urbina joined the firm in 2025 after winding up his private law practice in Gallup, NM. Diego earned his B.A. in Political Science and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law. He is a first-generation college and law school graduate and attributes many of his accomplishments to the unwavering support and love of his parents. Raised in a trailer park on the east side of Gallup, New Mexico, Diego brings a grounded perspective and a deep respect for the people behind each case.
Diego comes to Keegan Richardson Solimon & West LLP with a decade of experience litigating and representing clients across a wide range of legal issues including criminal defense, complex family law, Social Security disability and tribal court matters. This breadth of experience has honed his skills in strategy, communication, and advocacy—especially in fast-moving and high-pressure environments. Diego practices under the guiding principle “Non ministrari, sed ministrare”—not to be served, but to serve. Accordingly, Diego is a strong believer that every client deserves dedicated advocacy and honest counsel.
